Matching Fireplace Benches (Red Oak)

76" long x 25" wide x 29" high

The new owners of a classic Arts & Crafts bungalow in Pasadena, CA, wanted to replace poorly constructed, make-shift fireplace seating with more authentic, period benches. The result created a cozy and inviting fireside nook with art glass lantern/tables ideal for reading or just daydreaming before a warm fire.

China Cabinet (Pickled Maple)
81" wide x 29" deep x 94 5/8" high

A Ventura, CA homeowner has beautiful antique English bone china and fine crystal glassware and no place to store or display them.  She also has a recessed alcove in her dining room, the perfect spot for a built-in china cabinet with illuminated glass shelves,  large drawers for silverware and linens, and loads of space for serving platters. Now she has everything plus a beautiful addition to her dining room.

China Cabinet
(Cherry hardwood with bronzed mirrors and halogen lighting)

105" long x 67" high x 18" deep

Designed to hold five sets of antique china and glassware, this elegant cherry cabinet sets off the dining room of a spacious lakeside home on Lake Tahoe, NV.  Halogen lighting inside combined with bronzed mirrors makes the crystal sparkle, while the under-cabinet halogen lamps illuminate the existing marble buffet top.  The leaf etching on the doors matches a similar pattern on the dining room chair backs.

Kitchen Banquettes with Side Cabinets (Red Oak)
71" long x 65" wide x 38" high (overall dimensions)

This Glendale, CA client wanted a kitchen dining area reminiscent of those in her native Germany.

Built-in Bookcases (Fir Plywood & Pine Trim)
149" long x 96" high x 12 ¼" deep

The Sierra Madre, CA family who commissioned these had had their books in boxes for years. "They look like they've always been there," they said when the job was finished.

Breakfast Nook – Built-in Hardwood Table and Storage Benches
(Painted birch plywood with hard maple table and maple bench trim)
90 ½" wide x 52" deep x 36 ¾" high

A couple in Menlo Park , CA was renovating their kitchen and wanted to utilize an eating area which contained a round table and four chairs. The resulting built-in breakfast nook provided a more comfortable and larger eating area, storage space inside the benches, and a table big enough for both husband and wife to read the morning paper simultaneously without invading each other’s space. The table also has a surface mounting electric outlet for a toaster and jukebox style radio.

Cedar-lined Armoire (Birch)
60" wide x 108" high x 24" deep

A Silver Lake, CA couple added a guest bedroom suite to their home, which included a small hallway to the bathroom. We filled the hallway with a beautiful and very practical cedar-lined armoire, which can be used for seasonal storage of the family's clothing as well as guests' things. The cubby holes above are ideal for extra bedding and towels.
