The side facing the front door of the house contains drawers for car keys and other items one grabs when exiting the house, plus storage for backpacks and the like. The side facing the living room has large drawers for linen and storage below (behind the rice paper paneled doors) for other items used in entertaining. |

This pseudo-Art Deco highboy was built for a woman with very particular tastes. It had to provide a large amount of drawer space for clothing, storage for handbags and other accessories, and counter space for jewelry boxes. And it couldnt be symmetrical or ordinary. |
