Interior Stairway Gate
(White Oak, Cherry and Formica Laminate)

A North Hollywood, CA couple had an unusual request. Design and build an attractive cat barrier for the stairway to the second floor of their large condo. The solution was this multi-material gate which tied in nicely to their modern art collection.


Arts & Crafts Folding Screen (Red Oak)

This folding screen was designed and built for a westside Los Angeles home to compliment the family’s Arts & Crafts furnishings and provide privacy from street traffic.  The fabric inserts are reproductions of original William Morris textile designs.


Sideboard Cart (Redwood)
60" long x 28" wide x 39" high

 

This Los Angeles, CA family needed storage for gardening and outdoor grilling items. The cart is on wheels and can be repositioned on the veranda. It is also used as a sideboard for outdoor entertaining.


Artist’s Work/Light Table
(Red Oak with and translucent Plexiglas insert)
36” long  x  24” wide  x  46” high

 

A Poway, CA artist required a sturdy table with a back lit Plexiglas surface on which she could cut intricate patterns.  She also wanted the table to be an attractive piece of furniture in her home office.


Large Book Reading Stand (Oak & Brass)

The Times of London World Atlas deserves a place of its own, don't you think? The stand is also handy for the Columbia Encyclopedia, Oxford English Dictionary and other hefty tomes.
